I know your birthday isn’t until tomorrow (so I’m hoping you don’t see this till then, but if you do that’s okay too) but I will be at the hospital most of the day on Valentine’s Day so I wanted to get this out there early. :) It’s a little piece of fanart I put together waaaay back when I first read the Sea of Tranquility book and wanted to “visualize” the characters. Hahaha. I love you oodles and oodles! YOU’RE THE TURTLE, MAN. YOU’RE THE TURTLE. There’s no denying that Bonnie Wright is a stunningly beautiful actress, but as the character Ginny Weasley she fell very short of my expectations. Yes, I know she didn’t have a lot of “screen time” but work with what you have, woman! Even in the scenes she did have, they were mediocre in performance at best. I would have been milking those few minutes of screen time for all I was worth if I were her. But sadly she did not, and thus, the relationship between Harry & Ginny seemed pathetic in comparison to his relationship with other female lead characters in the movies.
I guess I just pictured Ginny as more feisty and comical in an endearing sort of way. Kind of the way Emma Stone portrays a lot of her characters!
There’s just that special something about Ginny in the books that the movies are really lacking because of Bonnie Wright’s performance. It saddens me.
And don’t even get me started on the lack of chemistry between Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright.
Guess I’ll never stop loving the adorableness of those two. :’(
That was the cutest, most thrilling, hilarious movie I’ve seen in a long time. Those little kids can really act - wow. This movie had such…heart. It was moving and beautiful and I just fell in love with every single one of those characters. The main kid Joe was absolutely amazing! I just wanted to hug him the entire movie. And Alice. <3 Dakota Fanning is not the only one who can act in that family! That girl was flawless. Gah, I just love everything about this movie. It was epic. I highly recommend you all go watch it as soon as possible.
P.S. I CANNOT AVOID ALL OF THESE ‘DEATHLY HALLOWS’ TRAILER SPOILERS. THEY’RE EVERYWHERE! D:

Yeah, apparently they’re having this special re-showing of all of the LOTR movies every Tuesday night in theaters here in Texas for the next three weeks or something. I’m so excited! I never had the chance to see any of the movies in theaters before. And there’s going to be extended footage and stuff. I’m smuggling in lots of snacks. Seriously, movie food is way over-priced. O_O But I can’t wait to see the movie…
